Computer GPUs
Hi ppl, how can Kenyans get the newest GPUs out there, the 4890s and the 295 for ATI and Nvidia?

Reason being, if someone is looking for a GPU that can deliver power for gaming, editing etc they have to settle for the old models you find in our stores, they still get the job done but at a cost that I find too high.

What are your thoughts and ideas on this matter? & Dont tell me to go to Starcom!

RE: Computer GPUs
hi..
when nvidia or ati release a new gpu(graphics processor unit) all the manufactures like sapphire and xfx try to sell the new card by adding something extra like a stylish cooler or enhanced heat sink, but the proofs in the pudding and in my experience a decent graphic card needs a fan, especially when operating a core clock speeds of the HD3879
that's why i am dismissing number 1 ,mainly because i don't believe heat sink only cards can operate as well as a fan assisted card,OK this is a nice card and the copper cooling system is very good, but unless you plan to use your p.c solely for multimedia tasks i would steer clear of this model.by (brianthe...)
